Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Film to Photo. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Film to Photo converts captured or imported film negatives, edits photos, and exports results. Optional AI Restoration submits a photo to online providers to create a restored variant. Features may change as we improve the app, and online features may be interrupted or unavailable.
Your photos and permitted use
You keep your rights in photos you provide. You give us and our service providers a limited permission to process a selected photo only as needed to provide AI Restoration, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. This permission ends when the relevant data is deleted, except for limited records or copies that must remain for security, transaction integrity, legal obligations, or provider backup cycles.
You must have the right to capture, upload, edit, save, and share the material you use. Do not use the app to violate privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights, or to process unlawful or abusive content.
AI results
AI Restoration can alter faces, text, colors, objects, and other details, even when asked to make mild repairs. Results may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review each result against the original before relying on, publishing, or sharing it. Do not use an AI result as evidence of historical fact or identity.
Accounts
A Film to Photo account is required for AI Restoration and AI credits. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through Support.
Purchases
Apple App Store or Google Play handles payment and applies its payment terms and refund process. Local Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited local photo saves and shares at full resolution; it does not include AI credits. AI credits are sold separately in packs of 5 or 20; they do not expire. A successful AI result costs one credit. A failed or cancelled job returns the reserved credit, while deleting or allowing a successful result to expire does not. Saving an already purchased AI result does not require Local Pro.
Prices and availability appear in the store before purchase. Except where applicable law or the store’s rules require otherwise, purchases are final. You may not transfer credits, resell access, manipulate receipts, or claim the same transaction more than once.
Availability and responsible use
Do not interfere with the app or service, bypass access or credit controls, probe for vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, or use another person’s account. We may limit or suspend online access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and online services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, preservation of every file, or any particular restoration outcome. Keep your own backup of important photos.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and ending use
You may stop using the app at any time. We may update these terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the affected service and delete your account.
